Our Mission

The Pettaway Pursuit Foundation is a non-profit organization, established to provide education, peer-to-peer mentoring, home and hospital visitation as well as offer special services to low income women who are diagnosed with high-risk pregnancies and families with premature infants. These services are provided to help decrease the rising numbers of premature infants and will empower families with the necessary tools to make the childbirth experience as smooth as possible.

The Pettaway Pursuit Foundation has built an alliance with healthcare providers to deliver access to accurate information, support and services by healthcare agencies, social workers, midwives, lactation specialists, doulas and massage therapists. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible via our website, by hosting free workshops and seminars at libraries, hospitals, family planning agencies, high schools and local health centers.

The Pettaway Pursuit Foundation was incorporated on July 23, 2026 and is a non-profit organization operating under section 501(c)(3) serving the Cities of Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE and its surrounding counties. The organization depends largely on grants and contributions. Please help us to help others by making a tax-deductible contribution.
